Dear sirs:
Warm greetings. I hope you succeed in the wonderful work you carry out. I want to thank you for the economic and moral support that you have given me. During these three years, I have learnt a lot about myself and I have established medium and long term objectives for my life. I also want to mention that I have enjoyed a lot, together with the other scholarship recipients, the workshops on Personal Growth. I have shared different points of view with the other participants and I got to know them more. What I appreciated more was to discover how important is to give a smile and a big hug to other needy people as well as to those who share their happiness and sadness with us.
Also, during these years that I have received your help, I have been thought that solidarity, gratitude and the willingness to become even better each day, ennoble each person and enable them to grow every day with better human qualities. Sharing these qualities with others help them to have a better development in a society which competes day after day.
I'm pleased to share not only what I have learnt but I'm proud of your human kindness. You motivate with your cordiality and warmness to all of us who need support. That helps us to grow, develop and share with others the big happiness that we have in our hearts.
I know that you, with the help of God, have enabled some of us to continue with our studies at High School and at the University. This touches us and keeps us happy because we are achieving our dreams and looking for new challenges to overcome, and someday we can continue with this work that demonstrates us that solidarity and trust to others is very important.
I would like to thank all those children that made those gifts for us. I send them a big hug and kiss and I hope they continue developing their art skills.
I will continue my studies at the National Polytechnic School. I will study Chemistry Engineering as I would like to be involved into chemicals, bio-chemicals and physics transformation processes, as well as to develop creativity, initiative, production capacity, responsibility, honesty, ethics, moral, equity, cooperation and integration. After five years, I would like to have an international Post graduate degree, but before this, I need to find a job that enables me to accomplish this objective. Some years later, I would also like to study Veterinary or Marine Biology, because I love to be in touch with all existing animals in Earth, so I could look for the way to avoid extinction of some of them.
Please tell Roseanne that I'm very grateful with her. It was a big honor to met her and I would like to see her again and maybe, to meet more members from your community.
I hope God sends you blessings on your daily duties and I hope you succeed into the plans you have.
Warm greetings,
Monica Bohorquez
